The Corning Community College Alumni Program currently represents over 27,000 alumni located in all parts of the country and abroad. Many successful alumni have gone on to become educators, administrators, health care providers, and CEO’s of publicly traded companies. Our most celebrated alumnus is retired space shuttle commander Colonel Eileen M. Collins, USAF ’76. Other highly successful alumni include Dr. Jay Hanas ’68, educator and scientist; Lawrence R. Johnston ’70, former CEO and Chairman of the Board for Albertsons, Inc.; Clarence F. Bercher ‘66, former President of GTE Communications Corporation; and many more that are featured on our Distinguished Alumni page.
The Alumni Program Committee is working on ways to reach and then serve our alumni in the 21st century. Visit our Special Events page to look for opportunities to join us as we continue to network with each other throughout the year.
We encourage you to share your success stories and reconnect with the College and fellow alumni. Please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (607) 962-9458 or alumni@corning-cc.edu if you are interested in becoming a volunteer or if you have any comments and suggestions.
