This course is an introduction to the structure and use of QuickBooks Pro for business bookkeeping. Program content will cover the initial setup of company accounts and preferences; the creation of customized templates including invoices, estimates and statements; customer billing; accounts payable; check writing; account reconciliation; standard and customized reporting; and software utilities.
Prerequisite: Participants should have knowledge of basic accounting principles including an understanding of the relationship between asset, liability, revenue, expense, and equity accounts. Previous bookkeeping experience will be helpful.
