ServSafe Certification

ServSafe is a nationally recognized training and certification opportunity designed specifically for food preparation businesses.  Employees learn to properly receive, prepare, hold and serve food following strict sanitation guidelines and best practices. This program prepares employees to pass the national certification exam, which is included.

Grade D Water Treatment Plant Operator

This New York State Health Department approved 18-hour program is the required course for operators seeking Grade D certification.  Course covers basic hydraulics, operator math, cross connection control, distribution system O & M (leak detection), pipes & joints, valves, and other miscellaneous tools and operations involving plant operations.  Course will also cover disease prevention/disinfection, emergency planning, work zones, water-main installation & repairs, maps & records, winter operations, and trench and jobsite safety.
