WorkKeys® Job Profiling
The WorkKeys® Job Profiling system is a job analysis system developed by ACT® that helps businesses identify the skills and skill levels employees must have to perform particular jobs effectively.
It also gives individuals a clear picture of the skill levels they need to qualify for and be successful in the jobs they want.
WorkKeys job profiling is conducted by trained job analysts at CCC. This procedure was designed by industrial psychologists to systematically develop accurate profiles using task analysis,
skill analysis, and skill ranking to identify the required skill set for effective performance for a particular job.
Job Analysis
The WorkKeys job profiling component offers a concrete way for organizations to analyze the skills needed for specific jobs and to describe those needs to educators, students, and job applicants. For each position, job profiling identifies the skills and WorkKeys skill levels an individual must have to perform successfully.
By comparing job profile information with individuals’ scores on the WorkKeys tests, organizations can make reliable decisions about hiring, training, and program development. Job Profile reports are an excellent tool for writing or updating job descriptions and requirements.
