Short-term training programs  designed to help you develop essential skills leading to employment.  All courses included in the career pathways may be applied to Associate Degree programs at CCC.  Pathways are available in the following areas:

CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

The following certificate programs may be earned in one year or less and require approximately 30 credit hours of course work in specific career areas.  Graduates earn a SUNY certificate and all courses may be applied toward an Associate Degree program.

MORE AFTER 4:00

Corning Community College’s More After 4:00 program is designed to offer an Associate in Applied Science degrees in two (or three) years by attending classes two evenings per week and Saturday mornings.  Students will take one class two evenings per week for eight weeks and another class on Saturdays for eight weeks.  Students then take two additional courses during the second eight weeks of the semester.  This will allow students to take at least 12 credits a semester, while only taking two courses at one time.

Corporate and Business Training

We also offer several new short term non-credit workforce training programs assisting you to develop skills for high demand employment opportunities. These programs include:

  • Office Technology
  • ServSafe food handling
  • National Retail Federation Customer Service Training
  • Manufacturing Technician (lecture only)
  • Customer Service in Manufacturing 

Professional certification courses will be offered in Real Estate; Life, Accident and Health; Child Abuse Recognition; Continuing Education for Insurance; Human Resources Boot Camp; and a Leadership Series for business and industry.
