Evening and Weekend Programs

Corning Community College offers evening and weekend courses throughout the college's service area.  Continuing Education Part-Time Student Services Representatives visit all locations to:

• assist students with academic advising
• provide materials to instructors
• offer college information on MyCCC and other services

The  More After 4:00 program is designed to offer an Associate in Applied Science degrees in two (or three) years by attending classes two evenings per week and Saturday mornings.  Students will take one class two evenings per week for eight weeks and another class on Saturdays for eight weeks.  Students then take two additional courses during the second eight weeks of the semester.  This will allow students to take at least 12 credits a semester, while only taking two courses at one time. 

The benefits of the More After 4:00 program include: 

• Complete the academic program in just two years.
• Complete the  program in the Elmira or Corning area, with most courses being scheduled off-campus for accessibility;
• Take four courses each semester enabling students to apply for financial aid as full-time students;
• Complete the program with the same student group, creating a built-in support network;
• Electives will be determined by the student group according to interest.
