Business Writing: Writing to Win

In today's high-speed world, the way you write can help you win at effective communication in the workplace. Misspelled memos, unreadable emails and careless writing in general can send you off the road to success. Fortunately, effective writing skills can be learned, and this course intends to put you back on track to writing to win. This two-part business writing course will focus on the most common writing errors and how to avoid them. Other topics covered will be basic memo writing, effective emails and everyday business letters. There will be one-on-one assistance during this course, as this is the most effective way to learn.

Real Estate Salesperson

This 75-hour course meets the education requirements specified by New York State pursuant to new laws effective July 1, 2008 for those who wish to obtain a real estate salesperson’s license. It covers the following topics related to an understanding of real estate markets: Real Estate Instruments, Law of Agency, Financing, Valuation and Listing Procedures, Contracts, License Law and Regulations, Human Rights, Fair Housing, Closing Procedures, Land Use Regulations, Introduction to Construction and Environmental Concerns.
