Interviews & Pre-Admission Counseling
Our admission specialists are always happy to provide a personal interview for those students who would like to explore their options. Many students find an admission interview helpful in defining career and educational goals. An individualized campus tour is offered in conjunction with an interview.
A tour of the campus helps to orient prospective students, and provides a comfort level when students return to campus to begin classes. Student ambassadors will be happy to escort prospective students and their families on a tour.

You may also e-mail us at admissions@corning-cc.edu. All accepted students are invited to the campus for advising, course selection, and orientation.
Application Procedure
New students are encouraged to apply early. Applications are processed on a continuous basis, and should be received by the Office of Admissions at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. The fall semester begins in late August and the spring semester begins in mid January. Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.
Step 1: Apply online or download, complete and return the application form. Applications are available from the Office of Admissions, high school guidance offices, workforce development centers, libraries, and many human service agencies.
Step 2: Applying online is FREE. Paper applications require a $25 application processing fee that must be submitted prior to acceptance.
*Fee waiver applications are available upon request. Fee waivers are granted based on total household income.
Step 3: Request your high school transcript be sent directly to CCC, or, if applicable, send us a copy of your GED diploma and scores, or a copy of your External High School diploma.
Step 4: Transfer students should request that official college transcripts be sent directly to the CCC Office of Admissions. The admissions office will notify you of your status soon after your application and records are received. Upon your acceptance, you will be given directions for scheduling assessment tests, advising, and course registration.
