Application Process

Attention New Students: The last day to apply online is August 2nd. Paper applications can be submitted until August 7th. Please call the Office of Admissions at (607) 962-9151 to get started.

All new students must be accepted by August 9th to be matriculated for the Fall 2010 semester.

Matriculation is necessary for financial aid and completion of a degree or certificate. We are accepting faxed transcripts sent directly from the high school, please send them to (607) 962-9582.

Transfer and returning students can continue to apply after the August 9th deadline.

New students are encouraged to apply early.  Applications are processed on a continuous basis, and should be received by the Office of Admissions at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.  The fall semester begins in late August and the spring semester begins in mid January.  Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.

Step 1:    **PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS before sending your application due to August deadlines.  Our admissions staff will assist you in the process. Download, complete, and return the application form. Applications are available from the Office of Admissions, high school guidance offices, workforce development centers, libraries, and many human service agencies.  Returning CCC students, you may apply online or submit a readmit application. 

Step 2:    Request your high school transcript be sent directly to CCC, or, if applicable, send us a copy of your GED diploma and scores, or a copy of your External High School diploma.  we recently began to accept faxed high school transcripts directly from the high school as official transcripts.  You may request to have your transcripts be faxed to 607-962-9582.

Step 3:    Transfer students should request that official college transcripts be sent directly to the CCC Office of Admissions. The admissions office will notify you of your status soon after your application and records are received.  Upon your acceptance, you will be given directions for scheduling assessment tests, advising, and course registration.
