CCC Theatre:
Creativity in Action

Introduction to Theatre Acting I & II, Voice and Movement for Actors, and our new Introduction to Technical Theatre course allow students to expand their knowledge of theatre arts.

Workshops taught by professional theatre practitioners in the art of the audition, movement, and new performance methodology are a part of our core activities.  The opportunity to work with a professional guest director in each academic year offers a fully rounded introduction to the world of the stage.

Participation in fully mounted theatre productions offers practical hands-on experience in the exciting collaborative process of creating live theatre.  Students can earn college credit on CCC productions for performing and working behind the scenes in set construction, costumes, lighting, and sound.

Our students explore the ancient magical art and craft of the theatre, its language and pageantry, through class work and production in a supportive environment that emphasizes imagination, curiosity about the world, connection, trust, and mutual responsibility for fellow artists-in training.
