Early Childhood Studies (A.A.S.) provides a core of early childhood courses, a supervised field experience, and a liberal arts foundation. Child development theory and practice are woven together to give the student the skills and knowledge to work effectively with children 0 - 8 years of age.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) credential may be earned by students already working in the field of early childhood. The 10-month program prepares students already working in the field of early childhood. The 10-month program prepares students for the national credentialing exam.
