Health and Nursing
One of the unique aspects of careers in the fields of Nursing, Health, Physical Education, Recreation and EMT: Paramedic is that there is no one career path. Once you complete the program requirements, there will be, virtually, no limit to the number of challenging and rewarding career opportunities available. A strong math and science background provides the necessary foundation for these careers. Other required courses enhance the students understanding of human nature, health promotion, communication, as well as provide a specialized skill set; all of which are essential for interaction with the general public. Students completing the course work for the degree requirements are eligible to sit for the certifying/ licensing exam, become employed or transfer to a baccalaureate degree program.
