HPER Mission Statement "To provide an environment which enables students to evolve personally and professionally by obtaining knowledge and skills in the areas of health, physical education and recreation and other sport related careers."
This transfer program prepares students for careers in sport, physical and health education, wellness and recreation. It provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful transfer to a baccalaureate environment. Students are introduced to current research, practice and philosophy. Opportunities are provided for students to expand their understanding and expertise in a variety of potential career areas to help them decide on a career path that best meets their interests and abilities.
