At CCC, you will find the campus to be a hub of activity offering many social, cultural and leadership activities, in addition to membership in clubs and organizations, that you would expect at four-year colleges. The experience you gain from such activities will foster your growth outside the classroom.
The Student Life Department is committed to providing activities and opportunities to meet the various interests of all students.
Refer to the links to the left for more specific information about Clubs and Organizations (including Student Association and Student Leadership).
The Activities Programming Committee, generally comprised of up to 20 student members, is responsible for providing many of the various social and cultural events outside the normal classroom setting. A good number of these events are open to the general public. The events consist of a wide array of performers, lectures, demonstrations and the like. Past events have included: Cool Kids Series; Coffeehouse Series; Give-Aways; "Mission: Wolf, live wolf demonstration and lecture; Health Awareness programs; Spoken Word artists and MORE! These events are included on the Student Life Events calendar and the CCC intranet.
For information regarding upcoming events open to the general public, refer to the events listed on the "Welcome" tab or contact the Student Life office.
To complement the CCC mission by providing meaningful programs to engage all students in educational, cultural, social, leadership, and governance experiences to accompany their academic success while promoting employee involvement, supporting the development of staff, servicing student clubs, applying sound financial measures, and enriching the lives of all community members in our tri-county region.
