Advising & Counseling Services
Advising & Counseling Services is designed to assist students in reaching their personal and academic goals by providing one-on-one mentoring, advising, and counseling. The staff at Advising & Counseling Services also helps students become aware of the College's resources (academic, financial, job placement, and career counseling) and how to use them in meeting their individual needs.
Advising & Counseling Services oversees or facilitates the following services:
- Advising Information
- Academic Progress (Early Alerts, Warning Grades, Academic Standing)
- Placement Testing
- College Success Skills
- Counseling (personal, academic, and career)
- Transfer College Planning
All counseling sessions are confidential and free of charge. No information is released to anyone outside of the college without the student's written permission, except in certain circumstances required by law. |
