First student applied to CCC. He was Victor Allen Maxwell of Lindley. |

First faculty hired. Six full-time and 4 part-time faculty. |

Dr. Perry moved into School 3. There was no heat in the building and the temperature was 42 degrees. |
| July 2 |
Sylvia Mapes Allen registers as the 100th student at CCC. She was married and had three children. |
| September 10 |
First class registration in School 3 with 210 students. |

Orientation and Placement Exams. |

First day of instruction for the first year of students at CCC. |
| October 31 |
The first athletic contest was a soccer game against the University of Rochester freshmen. |

Neil Bulkley and Johanna Abbey were elected the first King and Queen at the Christmas Dance. |
