March 24	Jack Gladstone, Native American storyteller/singer featured for Earth Day.
March 24-27	Two-Bit Players presented Our Town.
May	Thai American Youth Cultural Exchange program with CCC.
May 12	The position of the fourth president of Corning Community College was accepted by Dr. Eduardo J. Marti, then president of Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
May 22	683 graduated.
July 31	Dr. Donald H. Hangen retired.
August 7	8th Annual Student Leadership Conference at Ithaca College.
August 15	Dr. Eduardo J. Marti began appointment as 4th President of CCC.
September 8	Pontiac Grand Am was donated to Auto Technology Center.
October 29	Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference at CCC.
