Events

General public shows consist of a 30-45 minute long multimedia planetarium show in the Harry and Edith Treinin Theater, followed by a 10-20 minute long guided tour through the night time sky projected on the dome.  After evening shows, the Eileen M. Collins Observatory is open to provide an opportunity for observing the sky through the telescopes.

Reservations are not required to attend general public shows.  Tickets go on sale 30 minutes prior to the start of each show at the Corning Community College Planetarium box office.

Prices for General Public Shows are:

Adult Ticket $7.00
Senior Ticket $6.00
Youth Ticket (3 to 17 years old) $4.00
Family Ticket (Two adults and two youths) $15.00

With CCC I.D. tickets are 1/2 price

General Public Show Schedule Regular Hours

Fridays  Shows are the first and third Friday of the month.
8:00 P.M. - Multimedia Planetarium Show followed by live Star Show
9:00 P.M. - Observatory (weather permitting)
