As you plan your schedule for the upcoming semesters, consider enrolling for at least 15 credit hours. You won’t pay more tuition for 15 credit hours than you will for 12 credits, and you’ll get finished sooner. Also, it's important to remember that the Excelsior Scholarship requires 15 credit hours per semester toward your degree to maintain eligibility for the scholarship. Ready to enroll?
Step 1: Pick your classes
Check out the available classes (choose Summer 2018 under "Search by Term"). Some classes fill quickly, so register early to reserve your seat.
Step 2: Enroll
Current Students: If you are currently enrolled in classes at CCC, make an appointment with your adviser or call the Educational Planning Center at 607-962-9875. Current students can register through MyCCC (check the FAQ for instructions). Feel free to call us at 607-962-9875 if you have any questions.
New Students: If you are not currently enrolled at CCC, call 607-962-9151 to enroll in classes.
Steph 3: Explore financial aid options for summer courses
If you are enrolling for 6 or more credit hours in the summer, you may be eligible to receive financial aid to assist you with your tuition and other educational expenses. Financial aid is available through the Federal Pell Grant, Federal College Work-Study, and Federal Direct Student Loans. You will need to submit the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://fafsa.gov by June 30 to apply for summer financial aid. Once you have submitted the FAFSA and registered for courses, the Financial Aid Office will determine your eligibility for summer financial aid.
