College Mathematics II

This course is the second of two-semester sequence designed to meet the minimum mathematics needs of college students. The primary emphasis in this course is to use mathematics to solve problems. Topics include; exponential functions, logarithmic functions, rational functions, power functions, and trigonometric functions. (3 cr. hrs.).
Prerequisite: MATH 1215. Cannot receive credit for this course if previously received credit for MATH 1220 or MATH 1230-1240. A graphing calculator is required; Texas Instruments TI-83/84 recommended. Meets SUNY General Education requirements in Mathematics.
