Republicanism, libertarianism, democracy, socialism, communism, fascism, and anarchism are discussed and compared. The historical origins and contemporary views of justice, liberty, human rights, the public good, and political participation are examined. (3 cr. hrs.) (ASN). Prerequisite: ENGL 1010.
