Principles of learning (respondent and operant conditioning), and their application to analyze and modify everyday behaviors. Use of this technology to observe, record, analyze, and modify behaviors encountered in a variety of work experiences such as teaching, nursing, criminal justice, human services, and counseling psychology. Includes a personal behavior modification research project. (3 cr. hrs.) (ASN).
Prerequisite: PSYC 1101. Lecture/ behavior exercises/ internet component. Upper-level course. Meets SUNY General Education requirement in Social Sciences.
