Teaching

I believe that as a teacher of teachers I am morally obligated to enter my classroom with only the highest of expectations for every one of my students. I believe that all students who walk into my classes are unique and that I need to provide a stimulating educational environment where they can become effective, highly qualified and caring educators. I provide a safe environment where my students feel a sense of community and are comfortable enough to share their ideas. I bring an open mind and a positive attitude to my classes in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in my future educators. The words of Mother Teresa, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples,” represent my passion for teaching future educators. I am proud to be a part of a program that is producing highly effective educators who are now in our community schools.
