It’s time to submit your FAFSA! From March 26 through March 30, Corning Community College will celebrate “FAFSA Fest!” All students, both incoming and returning, are encouraged to submit their 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for federal and state aid.

FAFSA Fest will include a financial aid forum, FAFSA completion workshops in the Commons computer lab, and prize drawings of Starbucks gift cards for students who have submitted the FAFSA by Friday, March 30.

To submit the FAFSA:

  • Create or use your existing Federal Student Aid ID username/password by visiting fsaid.ed.gov
    Students and parents should each create their own Federal Student Aid ID
  • Use the FAFSA Checklist for a helpful list of documents to have on-hand FAFSA Checklist
  • Submit the FAFSA at fafsa.gov
    Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to autoload your tax information
  • Please note: Corning Community College's Federal Code is 002863

Complete your FAFSA with help from experts at CCC's FAFSA Completion sessions. Financial Aid Office and Educational Planning Center staff will be available to assist students and parents with the online completion and submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. Students and parents should create their Federal Student Aid ID (FSAID) username and password at fsaid.ed.gov prior to attending a session. Financial Aid Forum

Tuesday, March 27, Commons Triangle Lounge, 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Do you want to better understand the financial aid process and how to make sure that you receive the maximum amount of financial aid? Troy Martin, Corning Community College’s Director of Financial Aid, will present information on the financial aid process, helpful hints for completing the FAFSA, aid eligibility requirements, describe the various financial aid programs available, how to report special circumstances, and student loan information. Bring your questions and come ready to discuss your favorite financial aid topic.

Drawing for Gift Cards

Friday, March 30
The Financial Aid Office will be holding a random drawing for gift cards. All students who have submitted the 2018-19 FAFSA between Oct. 1, 2017, and March 30, 2018, will be automatically entered to win. Students who are selected will be notified and may pick up their gifts cards from the Financial Aid Office.
