The Associate's degree program prepares students to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual and community health needs and identify and use behavioral strategies to promote positive lifestyle choices and improve the health of individuals and communities.

Graduates of this program are prepared to transfer to a four-year college and are aspiring epidemiologists, biostatisticians, art therapists, health policy and management analysts, health communicators, health and nutrition educators in industries that include private and non-profit and range from corporate to public education, and more.

CCC’s program provides the foundation to join the healthcare and social assistance industry, which is projected to create about 28% of all new jobs created in the U.S. economy. The industry, which includes public and private hospitals, nursing and residential care facilities, and individual and family services, is expected to grow by 33%, or 5.7 million new jobs.
