Alfred University at Corning Community College

We created the University Center for students who find attending traditional residential colleges problematic because of everyday life circumstances – perhaps work, family, or the need to stay close to home make it difficult for you to attend classes on campus Mondays through Fridays. Once enrolled, you can earn a bachelor’s degree, as part of the bachelor’s degree completion program, primarily on the Corning Community College campus and at a reduced tuition.

Most University Center classes are scheduled on Saturdays, and you’ll want to plan to be in class most of the day. Online courses are also incorporated into the sequence to allow you to complete the program within 2 calendar years, providing you follow the sequence. You will enter with a group of peers and move through the program together on the same schedule.

The University Center is a collaboration between Corning Community College and Alfred University. We are pleased to offer a variety of degree programs:
