The Department of Public Safety provides fast and professional emergency response for fires, car accidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and criminal activity. In addition, officers work closely with Steuben and Chemung County emergency services and personnel.
Officers are available for complaints and taking reports of suspicious or criminal activity. If you see something say something do not assume Public Safety is aware of the problem. Complaints can be made anonymously.
