Manufacturing Tech Program
SUNY Corning Community College's Manufacturing Technician Program was designed with local manufacturing industry in mind. Students who successfully complete the program are ready to enter the workforce immediately with skills and competencies for entry-level positions within manufacturing.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
This intensive program features a combination of class, hands-on labs, and facility
tours with local employers and is in alignment with local manufacturing employment
needs. It offers instruction in:
- Manufacturing Math
- Blueprint Reading
- Precision Measurement
- Applied CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Arm Training
- Interview Skills
- Resume Preparation
- Interview Opportunities
Graduates leave our program prepared to begin entry-level positions in the manufacturing industry.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the program, students must: have a high school diploma or GED
and attend an information session.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
This program is free to participants, thanks to the support of the New Energy New
York. In addition to tuition support, students who successfully complete the program
will receive a completion stipend of $1,000.

is a national leader of workforce and technology development for the U.S. battery
industry, made possible by a coalition and their programs along the entire battery
value chain.
