SUNY Corning Community College’s Planetarium is now the Digital Dome Theater, offering the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pennsylvania more than a valuable astronomical resource. The newly renovated Digital Dome is equipped to offer educational experiences for all disciplines.
The new digital technology seamlessly integrates data, models, videos, and graphics from across the educational spectrum to engage audiences in a new immersive educational experience. The Corning Community College Digital Dome provides audiences with inspiring and amazing multimedia voyages on a 360 degree dome that are accessible to audiences of all ages and interests. The Dome offers programming for the public, schools, other groups, and private rentals.

The Digital Dome Theater offers programs to enhance your curriculum and meet your
educational needs. Choose from existing programs or create your own.

Fees
$5/person
Rentals
The Digital Dome is available for private rentals. The dome seats 72. A party space
is available with flexible furniture for food and/or activities. For more information
contact digitaldome@corning-cc.edu
Birthday Parties
Looking for a space for your next birthday party? We’d be happy to host you. The dome
is available for small parties of 20 or fewer. The two hour birthday party rental
includes a private screening of a show of your choice followed by a live star talk
of tonight’s sky. For an additional fee we can create custom content and activities.
In addition to the dome we provide a space for cake and other activities.
Fee
$200 for 2 hours and 20 people.
Additional time and activities for an additional fee.
Weekends fill up fast. Please reach out early to secure your spot.
