In an effort to provide New York State students with an increased opportunity for quality higher education and a baccalaureate degree, the administrators and faculty from Keuka College and SUNY Coming Community College have a partnership signified by this transfer articulation agreement.

Transfer Paths Include:
  • BS - Nursing

Bachelor of Science - Nursing

The purpose is to afford students the opportunity to pre-plan their college careers, and to facilitate the transfer process from the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Nursing at SUNY Coming Community College to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing Adult Degree Completion Program at Keuka College.

Criteria for acceptance into the nursing program:

  • Completion of 60 or more transferable credits from accredited college or post- secondary programs. Applicants with fewer than 60 credits will need additional coursework to complete degree requirements.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Current license to practice as an RN in New York State.
  • Employment in a nursing position for at least 20 hours per week for the duration of the program.
  • Completion of an enrollment interview — speak with an Enrollment Advisor to review transferable credits and application.

Keuka guarantees that any course designated as transferable will be accepted—provided the student has earned a grade of "C" or higher in that course. To earn a Keuka degree, transfer students must complete 30 of their last 36 credits at Keuka College, including a Field Period and at least 12 credits in their major at the 300 level or above.

Interested students should notify Keuka College of their interest as early in their career at Corning Community College as possible so Keuka College advisors can help students plan effectively for transfer.

Students are encouraged to submit a completed application and all official college transcripts to Keuka’s Center for Professional Studies Office one full semester in advance of their desired entrance date.
