Existing Scholarships

Students can apply for the scholarships below by submitting the SUNY CCC Scholarship Common Application.

  • Abbie J. Chapman '75 Nursing Scholarship - Available to a student enrolled in the Nursing program.
  • Alumni Family Scholarship - Available to full-time students who are relatives of CCC alumni.
  • Amelia G. Creath Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time Mathematics/Sciences student who intends to transfer for a bachelor's in natural or physical sciences.
  • Amory Houghton, Jr. Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from Chemung, Schuyler, or Steuben County who demonstrates potential, promise, and drive.
  • Anna S. Hanas Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school who has an interest in performing arts or human services.
  • Anne D'Ulisse Memorial Scholarship - Available to a new entering full-time student with a documented financial need who is enrolled in a Humanities/Social Sciences program with a specific interest in psychology or early childhood.
  • Arlene Evenden Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who is a member, or is related to a member, of the American Legion Family (Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of) located in Chemung, Schuyler, or Steuben Counties.
  • Bonnie and Viola Scholarship - Available to a full-time, first-generation student from a local high school.
  • Carl H. and M. Suzanne Blowers Scholarship - Available to students who either live or work in Schuyler County with preference given to non-traditional students.
  • Charles A. Hill '84 Scholarship - Available to full-time students; one (1) who is an African American male and participates in extra-curricular activities, and one (1) who is an African American parent.
  • Class of '60 Scholarship - Available to a new entering student who is experiencing college for the first time and who most parallels the college experience of the students in the Class of 1960, CCC's first graduating class.
  • Corning Credit Union Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school who is interested in the field of banking or finance.
  • Dan McGarry Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who has overcome disabilities or significant hardship to pursue his or her higher education.
  • Dandy Mini Mart Scholarship - Available to full-time students who reside outside of New York State.
  • Daniel S. Hoover Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who demonstrates academic achievement and a strong desire for education.
  • Davies Family Scholarship - Available to a continuing student with documented financial need who is enrolled in a Business degree program and has demonstrated academic success.
  • Don Moore Fresh Start Scholarship - Available to a full-time continuing student who is returning to college after at least one year has elapsed since last attendance.
  • Donald B. Creath Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who is interested in STEAHM and intends to transfer to another higher educational institution.
  • Doris A. Bovee Memorial Scholarship - Available to one female and one male student from a local high school who is not receiving other scholarship or grant funding.
  • Dr. James W. Hudson Memorial Music Scholarship - Available to a full-time, continuing student who has demonstrated success during his/her first year of musical study.
  • Dr. Katherine P. Douglas Scholarship - Available to continuing students with a CCC CGPA of 3.0 or higher; one (1) who has completed at least 12 credit hours in a STEM degree program, and one (1) who has competed at least 12 credit hours of Social Sciences courses.
  • Dr. Neil Milliken '75 Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student with average academic performance who did not participate in the Accelerated College Education (ACE) program and who balances the pursuit of higher education with other life factors.
  • Emma Donegan Scholarship - Available to full-time students who graduated from the Corning-Painted Post School District.
  • Ernest E. Johnston Memorial Scholarship - Available to full-time students with the best mix between financial need and academic performance who graduated from the Corning-Painted Post School District.
  • First Heritage Federal Credit Union Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school pursuing an academic program in Math, Business, or Accounting.
  • Florence Healy Nursing Scholarship - Available to a student actively enrolled in Nursing coursework with a commitment and positive attitude toward the profession.
  • Georgia M. Verdier '74 Honorary Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who is committed to social justice issues and public service and who participates in SUNY CCC's Diversity Center's programs and workshops.
  • Helen and Waldo Longwell Scholarship - Available to a full-time first-generation student from a high school district in Chemung County.
  • Hilliard Foundation Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school who is enrolled in the Machine Tool Technology program or other related program approved by the Hilliard Foundation.
  • Hunter/Lanphear Scholarship - Available to one (1) male and one (1) female full-time students with documented financial need who are enrolled in Mathematics or Science programs.
  • Jeremiah and Margaret Reagan Family Fund - Available to a full-time student who resides in Chemung, Schuyler, or Steuben County.
  • John J. and Micheline A. McKinney Scholarship - Available to full-time students who are actively enrolled in Nursing coursework.
  • Kate Danforth Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student enrolled in the Mathematics/Sciences program who expresses an interest in math and demonstrates financial need.
  • Kelly Oakley Endowment Scholarship for Women - Available to a full-time, continuing, non-traditional, female student who previously achieved Dean's List.
  • Kelly Skoreski Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student in the Nursing program who graduated from a high school district in Chemung County.
  • Linda Patrick and Chuck Edmister Nursing Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school who is enrolled in the Nursing program and intends to pursue a bachelor's degree.
  • McInroy Fund - Available to a new entering student who has demonstrated a commitment to the environment and who has distinguished himself/herself academically by effort and not merely by good grades.
  • New York State Federation of Home Bureaus, Inc. Scholarship - Available to five (5) continuing students who reside in a county with a Home Bureau Chapter and are enrolled in at least seven (7) credit hours in the Business, Chemical Technology, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood, Human Services, or Nursing programs.
  • Nursing Careers Scholarship for First-Year Nursing Students - Available to students enrolled in the Nursing I course.
  • Nursing Careers Scholarship for Nursing III Students - Available to students enrolled in the Nursing III course.
  • Nursing Society Scholarship - Available to a student enrolled in the Nursing program.
  • Piggee-Sheafe Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time, non-traditional student.
  • Professional Educators of Corning Community College (PECCC) Scholarship - Available to one (1) new, full-time student who graduated from a high school in Chemung, Schuyler, or Steuben County and one (1) continuing, full-time student with a CCC GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Rita Reimanis Scholarship to Promote International Understanding - Available to a full-time student who possesses an interest in the promotion of international understanding through education and experience.
  • Robert and Hertha Rockwell Scholarship - Available to a full-time student enrolled in Liberal Arts/Sciences with an interest in performing arts or natural sciences.
  • Sandra Justice Hall Scholarship - Available to a new student enrolled in at least nine (9) credit hours who graduated from Addison or Corning-Painted Post School Districts.
  • Shannon Lynn Smith Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who is overcoming a disability and/or pursuing a career in special education.
  • Storflex Fixture Corporation Scholarship - Available to a new entering student who has demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
  • Susie I. McKinney Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time, continuing student who is enrolled in a STEM degree program.
  • Thomas and Barbara Blumer Early Childhood Education Scholarship - Available to a full-time student from a local high school who is enrolled in a childhood studies program and pursuing a career in the childcare profession.
  • Trooper Andrew J. "AJ" Sperr Memorial Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who is a child, step-child, grandchild, or step-grandchild of a New York State Trooper.
  • Waaland Presidential Scholarship - Available to a full-time student who has demonstrated exceptionalism in some capacity.
  • Werner International Scholarship - Available to a full-time international student who has an excellent academic record and exhibits an interest in promoting international understanding.

For the named funds below, it is not necessary to submit the CCC Scholarship Common Application. Recipients are selected through other processes.

  • Dewey Family Fund for Community Service - Available up to twice per academic year to current students and/or employees for projects that will enhance the College or a community service project for a non-profit organization. To apply for funding please complete the application.
  • Faculty Assembly Scholarship - Available to a full-time, continuing student who has been invited by CCC's Faculty Assembly to apply.
  • John M. Carroll Fund - Available to a new full-time student who is academically strong, involved in student activities and leadership roles, and has potential positive impact on enrollment.

SUNY Corning Community College students in need of assistance to pay for urgent expenses triggered by unforeseen events that threaten their ability to stay in college can apply for support through the Red Baron Financial Assistance Program.
