CORNING, N.Y. -- The Corning Community College Regional Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Kim L. Frock has graciously agreed to serve as the Administrator in Charge during a leadership transition to ensure continued stability during this period of change. Kim’s deep roots in the region and extensive experience in education and finance make her an ideal choice for this vital role.

Kim is widely recognized in the Southern Tier for her dedication to education and community service. In 2003, she left a successful career at Corning, Inc. to co-found the Alternative School for Math and Science. Since its opening in 2004, Kim has championed the success of our region’s middle school students, serving as the Administrative Head of School from 2003 to 2020, and currently serves as the school’s Executive Head of School. She is also actively involved in numerous area non-profits and has served on the CCC President’s Advisory Council since its inception in 2021.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Kim holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Her tenure at Corning, Inc. included several senior finance positions, equipping her with valuable administrative and financial expertise.

“The Board of Trustees believes that Kim’s leadership will provide a seamless transition as we prepare to welcome our next campus President,” said Michael Wayne, Chairman of the Regional Board of Trustees. “We look forward to collaborating with her over the summer to maintain our momentum and ensure a successful upcoming academic year.”

“I am excited and energized to join the CCC community until a new President has been selected,” said Frock. “I look forward to being part of such a vital institution for education in the Southern Tier.”
