- Additional furniture (must meet standards listed under Residence Hall Guidelines: Decorations/Furniture) and be labeled confirming compliance
WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME

- LED Light Strips
- Air fryers
- Splatter ball guns or Orbeez guns
- Animals or Pets
- Beer or water pong set-ups
- Candles/incense
- Refrigerators exceeding 4.0 cubic feet
- Stand-alone freezers.
- Extension cords.
- Exterior television, radio antennas, or satellite dishes or any object that protrudes from a window or attaches to the exterior of a residence hall.
- Halogen lamps, black lights, lava lamps or other high-intensity lamps including torchiere lamps, spider lamps or any upward facing bowl lamps.
- Space heaters or air conditioners.
- Toasters, hot plates, coffee pots with exposed elements, George Foreman style grills and Panini presses, sandwich makers, waffle irons, crock pots, oil fryers
- No cooking appliances that use electricity or gas other than a small microwave.
- The storage or use of flammable liquids and substances: gasoline, kerosene, charcoal, lighter fluid, paint.
- Natural trees, wreaths or garland.
- Electric blankets.
- Electrically amplified instruments, including DJ equipment and drum sets.
- Nails and foam backed adhesive tape.
- Dart boards or darts of any kind.
- Fitness equipment (treadmills, trampolines, stationary bikes, barbells, free weights, exercise machines, pull up bars, dancing poles, etc…)
- Federal, state, college, local or other signs.
- Waterbeds, hot tubs, Jacuzzis, lofts, and any material that changes the intended purpose of the furniture including cinder blocks and platforms.
