Student Spotlight: Lilli Cagwin
Meet Lilli Cagwin, a first-year Liberal Arts student, has had a lifelong connection
to Corning Community College. With both parents as alumni and her mother and grandmother
having taught at CCC, she always knew this was where she would begin her college journey.
The close-to-home campus and affordability made the decision even clearer.
Lilli is deeply involved in campus life. She serves as the President of the Art Club, performs as an actor in Muse of Fire theater productions, and participates in both Muse Notes Music Club and the CCC choir.
Among her proudest accomplishments are her performances in theater, helping to establish the Art Club, and earning a spot on the President’s List. Her favorite places on campus reflect her passions—the theater, the ceramics studio, and the Learning Center, where creativity and collaboration thrive.
Her advice for fellow students is simple: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your professors or tutors at the Learning Center. Also, try to participate in campus events and clubs.” For Lilli, getting involved has made all the difference.
