High School to College

The transition from high school to college can bring major changes, especially for students with disabilities who use accommodations. Accessibility Services is here to support students and their families through this process, but it’s important to know that the laws and accommodation procedures in college differ from those in K-12. Students who received support through an IEP or 504 Plan should understand that colleges may not provide the same accommodations they had in high school.
