Career planning is a life-long journey.
Career decisions are among the most important choices that you will ever make.
 
The career planning process consists of assessing your interests, career exploration and research, making your work experience count and implementing your career goal. Career Services offers career planning support for prospective and current students as well as alumni.

FOCUS2 APPLY:  matches a prospective student's interests to your college's majors and programs.
Strengthens the connection between the applicant and your college and ensures a good fit. This is a great tool for potential students, new students who are undecided, community partners, and anyone interested in coming to SUNY CCC!

FOCUS2 CAREER: guides students through a reliable, intuitive career & education decision making model to help choose majors offered specifically through SUNY CCC, explore occupations & make informed career decisions. EMPLOYERS: SUNY CCC appreciates our relationship with local employers. As a valued partner, you have the ability to post jobs, sign up for career fairs, and request to host an information session throughout our Fall and Spring semesters. More information is below:

Please include the company/organization name, address/location, job title, part or full-time position, hours, salary, job description and any other information you feel is relevant for job searchers to know. TRANSFER: Our office provides transfer advising and information on the various opportunities available at four-year institutions. We offer individualized transfer counseling, transfer workshops, Transfer Advisor-in-Residence (TAIR) Days, and special events including our Annual Transfer Fair each Fall!

Our Transfer Agreement page allows you to view our current partnerships SUNY CCC has with 4-year institutions in programs from Music to Health Sciences to Business! These agreements ensures a smooth transfer process for our graduates with junior status, thus being able to complete a bachelor’s degree within two years of full-time study upon transfer. Check them out below!

⇒  GradCast: Now that you’ve done the work, show off your talent. We have partnered with GradCast to provide you with employment channels to help you get noticed by employers looking for your expertise. GradCast allows you to build your network of potential employers for the life of your career. This is a free service to alumni where you will be able to send up to 100 resumes to employers looking for talent just like you. It’s easy:

  • Click the link your college and GradCast sent you.
  • Create a password. (We already created an account for you to claim your graduation gift.)
  • Upload your resume.
  • Then, send resumes with the click of a button.
