Q: What's your favorite part about being a faculty member at SUNY CCC?
A: It's a "teaching college" where most faculty are more interested in sharing their
expertise with students than only doing research in their respective fields. CCC is
small enough to be personal and large enough to offer incredible opportunities.
Q: What's been the best part of your professional career?
A: All of it. I have learned so much from the varied career(s) I have been fortunate
enough to have. I am still learning! CCC is the culmination of theory and practice,
which I try to bring to each course. My background has allowed me to combine the conceptual
and the experiential.
Q: What's one thing most people don't know about you?
A: I've been told I have a big "personality." I'm not entirely sure what that means,
but I agree with that assessment.
Q: What do you like to do during your free time/time outside of the classroom?
A: Mostly I enjoy fixing problems when people ask for help. On a personal level, I
enjoy gaming, movies, and superhero mythology. I loved science fiction (Star Trek)
and comic books long before they were cool.
