This microcredential aligns with requirements for the Machine Tool, A.A.S. degree should students choose to continue their education after obtaining the microcredential.

Microcredential

The purpose for the microcredential is to build on the skills gained with the Manufacturing Basic and the Manual Machinist Microcredentials to give the student skills needed to operate CNC Mills and Lathes. Students will learn fundamental programming to be able to read and interpret the code used by CNC machines and be able to relate the code to the machine operations
