AI Training for All Industries
This introductory AI training is designed to help participants understand and apply Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in an organization. It emphasizes practical, real-world use cases to improve efficiency and support better decision-making. This training is recommended for any employee that works within the Business, Education, Healthcare, and the Non-Profit sector that regularly conducts computer work.

Student Learning Outcomes: Participants will build foundational knowledge of how Generative AI works, how to use it effectively through strong prompts, and how to identify high-value applications in business.
Students Will:
• Learn through a blend of live demonstrations, facilitated exercises, and peer discussions.
• Work individually and in small groups.
Outline of Course Topics:
The program includes a blend of instructional content, live demonstrations, and facilitated
exercises. Participants will work individually and in small groups to learn about
AI and to identify company problems that could be solved using AI tools.
The 8-hour in-person class including lunch covers the following topics:
• Generative AI Overview
o Understanding AI and its evolution
• Prompt Engineering
o Techniques for effective communication with AI models
• Applied Use Cases for Generative AI
o Understanding how AI capabilities can support activities across multiple
functions
• Data Preparation and Analysis
o Using AI for data cleaning, summarization, and analysis
• Creative Content Generation and Vision Capabilities
o Generating and interpreting text, images, and video with AI
• Information Verification Methods
o Methods to ensure AI output accuracy and validity
• Data Security and AI Policy Considerations
• Participant Identification of Potential Company AI Projects
Why This Training is Important to Companies:
Companies need practical ways to improve efficiency and boost competitiveness. This
course:
• Builds Foundational AI Understanding: The training provides an accessible introduction
to generative AI, helping participants grasp core concepts and capabilities
in AI.

Please Note: Introductory Course Content: The training is designed as a beginner’s introduction to AI and may not include new content for intermediate or advanced AI users.
