CPR/First Aid
This American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification Course provides essential
life-saving
skills for handling medical emergencies with confidence. Participants will learn how
to
recognize and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies, perform high-quality CPR,
use an
AED, and provide first aid for injuries, sudden illnesses, and other emergencies.
Through hands-on practice and expert instruction, students will develop the skills
needed to
assess situations quickly, administer care effectively, and stay calm under pressure.
This course
is ideal for workplaces, caregivers, educators, and anyone who wants to be prepared
to act in
an emergency.

Students will:
- Recognize and Respond to Emergencies – Students will be able to quickly assess medical
emergencies, determine the appropriate response, and take immediate action to provide care.
- Perform High-Quality CPR – Students will demonstrate proper CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, including chest compressions, rescue breaths,
and the use of an AED.
- Administer First Aid – Students will learn how to treat common injuries such as
cuts, burns, fractures, and choking, as well as respond to sudden illnesses
like strokes or allergic reactions.
- Use an AED Effectively – Students will gain confidence in safely operating an Automated
External Defibrillator (AED) to assist someone experiencing cardiac arrest.
- Remain Calm and Communicate Clearly – Students will develop the ability to stay
composed under pressure, provide clear instructions to others, and
work effectively
with emergency responders when needed.

Cancellations with less than 3 days notice or failure to attend (No Shows) the first day of class will not qualify for a refund or reduction of charges.
Students may cancel 3 days or more prior to the day of class and receive a full refund. We solidify dates with instructors 3 days prior to the start of the class (or reschedule/cancel) and it is dependent upon enrollment. Cancellations with less than 3 days notice can not be refunded). Shelby is a certified Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor with a passion for empowering
individuals with life-saving skills. With a background in youth and family programs,
she is dedicated to providing clear, hands-on training that builds confidence in emergency
situations. Shelby's teaching approach emphasizes real-world application, making first
aid and CPR accessible and memorable. Shelby is committed to fostering a safe and
prepared community, and believes that everyone has the power to make a difference
in an emergency.
