Foundations of Labor Relations
The Foundations of Labor Relations training course aims to empower participants with
the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of labor relations
and foster productive and harmonious workplace relationships.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Participants will gain an understanding of the concepts of Labor Relations, the philosophy
behind it, and the tools associated with it.
Students will: Understand the best practices that enable union and non-union environments
to function at optimum levels while meeting legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Labor relations, including the roles of unions, management, and employees in the workplace,
union or non-union, are crucial to organizational compliance. Awareness, communications,
and conflict resolution are the most valuable skills and strategies for effectively
navigating and promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
