In-Demand Programs
SUNY Corning Community College partners with CSS Workforce NY on providing programs that support in-demand occupations. Eligible individuals may apply to receive funding for in-demand training programs.
You can access the Local Demand Occupation Training List to see the in-demand occupations in Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler Counties.
SUNY CCC’s Workforce Education & Community Engagement Division offers several non-credit programs that qualify for funding for individuals who are eligible.
Our current list of non-credit training programs are:

- Pharmacy Technician
- Medical Office Manager
- Certified Physical Therapy Aide
- Certified Paralegal
- Childhood Development Associate Prep
- Welding Technology Certificate
- Peer Recovery Advocacy and Coaching Training
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
- Certified Medical Admin Assistant w/ Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist & Medical Terminology
- RN Refresher
- Certified Administrative Professional
- Central Service Technician
- Phlebotomy Technician
- Certified Nurse Aide
- Certified Outpatient Coder

If you are interested in any of the above programs, your first step is to contact CSS Workforce NY to begin the application process. You can reach them at info@csswfny.com. Please note that the application process takes time and must be completed before beginning a training program in order to receive funding.
