Crisis Management

Crisis management is the process of planning and coordinating the response to an unforeseen event or situation that poses a threat or danger to an organization or community. Crises can take many forms, including natural disasters, accidents, security breaches, or other emergencies. The goal of crisis management is to minimize the impact of the crisis and to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

This interactive course will cover key concepts and strategies for emergency response and crisis
management, including planning and preparation, responding to emergencies, crisis management, and communication. We will also examine case studies and simulations to apply the concepts and techniques learned in the course to real-world scenarios.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to understand the definition and scope of crisis management
Students will be able to identify the types of crises that may occur and its potential impact Students will be able to develop a crisis management plan
 Students will be able to understand the importance of effective communication and coordination during a crisis
