Lies & Truths of Web Analytics

Do you know how to tell if your website is really working for you? If you’ve ever wanted to know what customers your website is bringing in, whether or not your advertising is working, or why you have a website at all, this course is for you!

Come learn how to read your web analytics, what those results mean, and how you can take control of the data to improve your business.

This course is part of the BYOT (Bring Your Own Tech) Series offered by SUNY CCC. In order to successfully participate in this course, each individual will need a laptop computer or tablet that is internet accessible (which they can bring to the course), as well as a functional, personal Gmail account (not associated with another organization, such as a .edu), and an understanding of how to log in to their Gmail account. If necessary, learners will be able to participate with a dataenabled smart phone (in case table/laptop are unavailable). Learners should try to come prepared with questions and an idea of who their customer base is, who currently hosts and maintains their website, etc. But this is not required. There will be no required text for this course; all necessary review materials will be provided.
