Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is the second level of training in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. It introduces the principles and tools used in process improvement in more detail than White Belt training.
Student Learning Outcomes:
This training helps individuals deploy Lean Six Sigma principles at a localized level.
It equips individuals to serve a support role on Green Belt and Black Belt projects.
Students will:
• Learn how to deploy Lean Six Sigma improvement activities into their daily
routines.
• Become capable team members supporting Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black

Why this type of training is important to manufacturers:
Improving the effectiveness of business processes, both operational and transactional, is often challenging. Many organizations resort to a “firefighting” method to solve day-to-day issues as needs arise.
