Level 6 Placement Review

Before taking Level 6 placement exam

It is highly recommended that you complete the Level 6 Placement Review at least once.
It is important to become familiar with the online system to ensure you enter answers in the correct format.
Review and understand the Orientation to Lumen OHM software assignment.
Placement exams are not reviewed for syntax errors and partial credit is not given.
Failure to enter answers in the proper format will lower your score and possibly lower your placement level.
A scientific calculator is allowed during the Level 6 Placement Exam. (One will be provided during the exam.)

The Level 6 Placement Exam has 25 questions and the results needed for placement are as follows

If Level 6 Placement Exam Score ≥ 60 then placement result is LEVEL 6 - eligible math courses are MATH 1610 or lower
If Level 6 Placement Exam Score < 60 then the previous placement level will be used, if established, or a different placement exam can be scheduled.
