Estate Planning & Charitable Giving Virtual Workshop

It’s National Estate Planning Week October 18 – 24 and you’re invited to our free virtual workshop!

WHAT is National Estate Planning Week?

With only 30% of Americans having a will and even fewer having an estate plan in place, it was clear there was a need to share the importance of estate planning with the American people. In 2008, the public campaign was designed to help Americans understand why estate planning is important and why it is necessary to do. Many Americans believe that estate planning is only “for the rich,” when this is far from the truth. Everybody can benefit from an estate plan, no matter what their net worth may be.

WHY is National Estate Planning Week Important?

Estate planning encompasses the growth, conservation, and transfer of an individual’s wealth through the creation and maintenance of an “estate plan.” The purpose of estate planning is to develop a strategy that will maintain the financial security of individuals through their lifetime and ensure the intended transfer of their property and assets at death, while taking into consideration the unique circumstances of the family and the potential costs of different methods.
